Angela Shaw

Angela Shaw is the General Manager of Allevia Hospital Epsom.  Angela is a Registered Nurse who has extensive experience in healthcare leadership roles in both public and private hospitals in Australia, New Zealand, and the UK. She has a background in perioperative nursing and has held roles as the Perioperative Services Manager at Epworth Freemasons in Melbourne, the General Manager of Braemar Hospital in Hamilton, and more recently as the Director of Clinical Services at Waipuna Hospice in Tauranga.    

Angela is passionate about lifelong learning, having completed her MBA and currently studying towards a Bachelor of Laws degree. She has a solution-focused approach to provide outstanding patient care and believes in her team who are confident and compassionate leaders. Angela and her team are implementing quality improvement strategies to enhance the patient experience and to increase private healthcare business acumen.
