Tim is a New Zealand trained orthopaedic surgeon who was born in regional New Zealand before moving to Auckland to complete his medical studies at the Universtiy of Auckland. He spent time working around the North Island before completing his specialist training in 2021. He has since had subspecialty training in the UK, completing a fellowship in knee surgery at the Bristol Royal Infirmary and Southmead Hospitals in Bristol, and fellowships in hip and knee surgery at the Royal London Hospital. He then completed further fellowship training in hip preservation and sports surgery at Orthosports in Auckland with Dr Matthew Brick.
Tim holds an orthopaedic consultant position at North Shore Hospital where he is active training junior doctors and medical students, as well as maintaining a private practice. In addition to conditions of the hip and knee, Tim manages general orthopaedic problems and trauma.
